In 1997, Fender’s Custom Shop paid tribute with the Monterey Stratocaster – a meticulously crafted limited-edition recreation of the original guitar. Featuring the vibrant, psychedelic hand-painted floral and flame motifs inspired by Jimi’s own artwork, this Stratocaster captures the soul of the Summer of Love. Built with Custom Shop precision, it offers all the hallmarks of a classic Strat: alder body, maple neck, vintage-style pickups, and the unmistakable tone that defined Hendrix’s sound.
